Armenian Foreign Minister Hails Session Of Foreign Ministers Of Countries Party To Collective Security Treaty

Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanyan, incumbent chairman of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the countries party to the Collective Security Treaty /DKB/, dubbed the session of the aforesaid council which had ended in Moscow, as very effective. He told newsmen about this after the session. Oskanyan stressed that it had been the first meeting of the ministers after the September 11 terrorist acts in the USA. I would like to recall that DKB is an organisation which saw its task in fighting international terrorism even before September 11, said Vardan Oskanyan. In his words, the parties to the Treaty would be working still more efficiently in the same direction after today's meeting. Oskanyan stressed that the sides attached importance to their foreign policy activities. The September 11 events have made this necessity even more vital, Oskanyan pointed out.
