Russian, Ukrainian Prime Ministers Discuss Cooperation

Russian and Ukrainian Prime Ministers Mikhail Kasyanov and Anatoly Kinakh discussed cooperation in fuel and energy, trade, military-technical and cultural spheres in Moscow, Russian Prime Minister's press secretary Tatiana Razbash told journalists on Thursday. According to her, the premiers considered preparations for the meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation to be held in Moscow on December 3-4, 2001. Mikhail Kasyanov expressed satisfaction with Ukraine's ratification of gas agreements, Tatiana Razbash said. According to the Russian and Ukrainian Prime Ministers, the cooperation in the cultural sphere is rising to higher levels. The premiers pointed out the importance of the fact that 2002 was declared the year of Ukraine in Russia, Tatiana Razbash stressed.
