Brazilian President Fernando Henrique Cardoso supports Vladimir Putin's idea of multi-polar world. He announced this in his exclusive interview with RIA Novosti on the eve of his official visit to Russia. "We entirely support the idea of multi-polarity and we come out against any individual hegemony. The positions of our countries coincide in this item," the Brazilian President stressed. Cardoso will visit Russia on January 13-16. He is scheduled to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 14, the Kremlin press service said on Friday. Putin and Cardoso are expected to sign several joint documents following the talks.
