Ukraine Proposes To Hold Palestinian-Israeli Talks In Kiev

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Anatoly Zlenko has proposed to hold direct Palestinian-Israeli talks in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital. He advanced this initiative at a press conference in Doha during his tour of the Persian Gulf countries. Ukraine is ready to hold this meeting in order to ease tensions in the region and to find a solution to the Mideastern problem, Zlenko stressed. According to the Minister, Ukraine condemns punitive measures of the Israeli administration in the occupied Palestinian territories. Zlenko has already visited Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and will arrive on a two-day visit in the United Arab Emirates today. His talks in the capitals of these countries focused on the establishment and development of bilateral relations in the spheres of trade, economy, investments and air communications.
