Not only are events in Afghanistan bringing in changes to this country, they are also going to change the world order as a whole, said Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zlatko Lagumdzija on Monday in his address to students of Moscow's foreign relations institute MGIMO. According to the minister, developments in Afghanistan will to a great extent define whether in the future we will witness "a dialogue or conflict of civilizations." Mr. Lagumdzija said that terrorists in Afghanistan "have chosen the path of war, to which humankind had to respond using force." Now, the world community should help the Afghans to create "new and absolutely transparent society." In Mr. Lagumdzija's opinion, no one can blame the Afghan population for what has happened in this country. He stressed that similarly to organized crime, terrorism cannot be rooted in religion.
