Russia, Ukraine Come To Terms On Gas Transit

Appearing this Friday at a Russian-Ukrainian economic forum, President Leonid Kuchma reported that the two countries had finally come to terms on Russian gas transit via Ukraine. Saying that this question was settled during his talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Leonid Kuchma added that decisions on such issues should be made at the level of ministries or governments rather than by presidents.
