Athens Regards Moscow As Its Strategic Partner On The Balkans

Athens is a strategic partner of Moscow on the Balkans, said deputy economics minister of Greece Yannis Zaphiropoulos during his meeting with the head of the Macedonian economic department. RIA Novosti reports that the representative of the Greek ministry and his colleague discussed in detail the prospects of the joint Greek-Russian economic initiatives in south-east Europe, especially in power engineering, which appeared after the recent visit to Greece by Russian president Vladimir Putin.
