Results Of The Meeting Between Russian Premier And Armenian President

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov has instructed his deputy Ilya Klebanov to speed up compiling a list of Armenian enterprises whose shares Russia is interested to acquire as part of a plan for settlement of Armenia's debts to Russia. Tatyana Razbash, Kasyanov's press secretary, said this to reporters Tuesday as commenting on the results of the premier's meeting with Armenian President Robert Kocharyan. According to Tatyana Razbash, Armenia's debt to Russia totals 98 million dollars, including 12-13 million dollars of arrears. The premier's press secretary also said that Kasyanov and Kocharyan discussed a draft agreement on the transfer of part of Russian raw diamonds to Armenia to be processed by its cutting works.
