Russian Government Approves Draft Russo-greek Agreement On Fighting Crime

The Russian government has approved a draft agreement on cooperation in fighting crime between the Russian interior ministry and Greek public order ministry. The Russian interior ministry-sponsored agreement had been agreed on with the foreign and justice ministries of Russia and discussed with the Greek side. As RIA Novosti knows from the governmental information department, a resolution to the effect was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov. The interior ministry is now to hold talks with the Greek ministry and sign the agreement on the Russian government's behalf once appropriate understanding was reached. The interior ministry is authorised to introduce minor amendments and addenda to the agreement.
