Iraqi Ambassador in Moscow Addresses a News Conference - 21 March, 2003 - News

Last night, the United States launched seventy cruise missiles on Baghdad, reported the Iraqi ambassador in Moscow, Abbas Khalaf Kunfud.

As a result, thirty-six people were wounded, mainly children, women and old men, said the diplomat, speaking at a news conference in Moscow on Friday.

The ambassador added that the Iraqi side had video records showing wounded Iraqis. These video records refute the assertions of the United States that it avoids civilian losses.
