Armed conflict between farmers and nomads in north-eastern Nigeria caused around 110 deaths, according to Pravda.Ru sources in the region, connected to the Red Cross.
This organisation added that there are a further 500 people wounded, some seriously and some 21,000 dislocated, who fled when hundreds of homes were torched.
