Regular Flights Between Baku and Kabul Will Start on January 15

A passenger plane of the Azerbaijani Airlines state company will make its first regular flight to Kabul on Wednesday. As RIA Novosti was told in the Azerbaijani Airlines, Boeing-727 planes will carry out flights three times a week.

The flight between Baku and Kabul will take two hours forty minutes. In order to carry out these flights, an agreement was reached with Turkmenia and Iran on using their airspace.

The establishment of a new air bridge was explained by the Azerbaijani Airlines by the need to bring foreign specialists to Afghanistan to take part in the restoration of the country. The company believes that many of these specialists will go to Kabul via Baku.
