German Social Democrats Want to Restore Traditional German-Russian Political Discussions

A vessel with representatives from the Social Democratic Party of Germany aboard will arrive today in St. Petersburg. The party's central travel bureau regularly sends its members to Russia. However, German Social Democrats say that besides enjoying sightseeing in Russia, they would like to revive the tradition of the 1970s and 1980s and, while traveling in Russia, organise political discussions and lectures.

Today, aboard the ship that brings them to St. Petersburg, the representatives of German Social Democrats wil hold an informational reception entitled 'Petersburg Dialogue: Objectives and Methods'. The results of this reception will be related by Tatiana Chesnokova, the Editor-in-Chief of the Rosbalt news agency.
