Russia's Attorney General's Office Is Preparing Demand Georgia Extradite Chechen Militants

According to the PR Department of the office of Russia's Attorney General, a demand is being prepared to the effect that Georgia extradite the persons who were detained over the past weekend while attempting illegal crossing into Russia, carrying weapons. The demand is based on the existing international legal norms and agreements signed between the two countries.

Detained over the weekend were 7 armed Chechen militants attempting to cross the border illegally. At this time, they are being kept by the Georgian Ministry of State Security.
