37 Kilos of Drugs Found on Tajik-Afghan Border

37 kg of drugs were found on the Tajik-Afghan border, reported the press service of Russian border guards stationed in Tajikistan.

On the night of September 30, the Moscow border detachment spotted trespassers trying to cross the border from the Afghan side. Seeing the border guards, the drug couriers retreated to the Afghan territory, discarding two bags containing 16 plastic bottles full of a white powdery substance /presumably heroin/, weighing a total of almost 30 kg.

On Sunday, the Khorog border detachment and officers from Tajikistan's presidential Drug Control Agency had discovered a cache with 7 kg of hashish.
