Homosexual heads US Army

The US confirmed the LGBT community representative Eric Fanning as Secretary of the Army.

It was the Senate that confirmed this candidate. New secretary will be subject to the Secretary of Defense and will help to coordinate work of the US army.

Before that Fanning used to be an Under Secretary of the Navy and chief of staff to the Head of Pentagon Ashton Carter.

Appointing a gay to a senior military post perfectly fit in the program of the LGBT representatives integration into the ranks of the US Armed Forces. Representatives of the sexual minorities gained opportunity to serve in the army after abolition of a regulation in 2010, according to which homosexuals could serve only in case they didn't reveal their orientation.

It should be noted that before that the US only exported and supported 'original values' in Europe. At the same time, it was quite difficult to imagine the LGBT expansion in the US itself. However, it turned out that well-lobbied homosexuality virus among top officials spread among the US quite quickly. Given this tendency one should wish the US more of such representatives in the power elites. Thus, the pacifism LGBT advocates, will be able to equalize the US militarist hawks.
