Sweden drops ome more charge against Assange

Swedish prosecutors drop one more charge against WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange on August 18.

Thus, Assange will not be accused of one more sexual molestation, which he has been suspected of since 2010.

According to the Swedish Prosecution Authority, it has stopped investigating a case because of its expiry.

Public prosecutor Marianne Ny said, "I still hope, however, that I will be able to arrange for an interview, as there are ongoing negotiations between Sweden and Ecuador".

French Justice Minister Christiane Taubira claimed June 25, that France may offer asylum Assange and Snowden. If France decides to offer them asylum, she would "absolutely not be surprised," she said.
