Rosoboronexport to Exhibit Products of Russian Defence Industry at Paris Arms Show

The Russian Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosoboronexport will exhibit arms produced by 30 Russian defence enterprises at the Euronaval 2002 arms show to be opened on October 21st in Le Bourget, a suburb of Paris.

The Euronaval show is held once in two years and is one of the most significant exhibitions of naval defence technologies. According to the organisation committee, this year the event will host more than 300 companies from 25 countries.

As was previously reported by Rosoboronexport representatives, "this event is extremely important for the Russian defence sector because over the past few years, the share of naval defence equipment in Russian arms exports has reached the level of 25%." According to them, the Russian stand at Euronaval 2002 will basically exhibit models, posters, booklets and videos. Leading experts of Russian defence companies and Rosoboronexport consultants will answer all questions of visitors and potential customers.

In addition, at Euronaval 2002, Rosoboronexport is also planning to promote the 1st World Naval Defence Show which will take place in St. Petersburg on June 25th-29th, 2003.
