New York Knicks center Randolph Morris was arrested early Tuesday and charged with reckless driving.

He was arrested by Lexington police, according to district court deputy Clerk Glenda Walls. He was released on $100 bond, with a court appearance scheduled for later Tuesday.

Morris signed with the Knicks in March after playing for Kentucky in the NCAA tournament. He played in five games for New York.

The 6-foot-11 Morris declared for the 2005 draft but was not chosen. He returned to Kentucky as a free agent.
