Iniesta crowned King; Champions League draw

It was always going to be a Latin, it was always going to come from La Liga in Spain, the question remained as to whether it was Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Spain's Andrès Iniesta or Argentina's Lionel Messi (Barcelona). And the winner of UEFA Footballer of the Year is...Iniesta!

The midfield star of Barcelona, Andrès Iniesta (28), has won the 2011/12 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award, but the edge he had over Ronaldo and Messi would have been his contribution towards Spain's victory in UEFA 2012. Iniesta received 19 votes, against 17 for Messi and Ronaldo.
