Mark Lamping named CEO of New Meadowlands Stadium Company
On Thursday, March 13, 2008, Mark Lamping was named the CEO of the New Meadowlands Stadium Company, where he will oversee the opening of The "Meadowlands," the new New York Giants and New York Jets football stadium.
The former president of the St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball team will take over the post on April 1.
A graduate of Vianney High School in the St. Louis area, Lamping was a prominent sports-marketing executive at Anheuser-Busch before his job with the Cardinals.
As the president of the Cardinals, Lamping worked from September 1, 1994 until March 13, 2008.
