Struggling Florida Panthers trade Huselius to Flames

The struggling Florida Panthers traded Swedish winger Kristian Huselius to the Calgary Flames for defenseman Steve Montador and minor league center Dustin Johner on Friday.

Huselius had five goals and three assists for eight points in 24 games this season for the Panthers, who have lost 14 of 16. He has 58 goals and 69 assists in 257 career NHL regular-season games.

Montador had one goal in seven games for Calgary this season. He has four goals and five assists in 94 career NHL games, with 201 penalty minutes.

Johner had two goals and two assists with the Las Vegas Wranglers this season. He led them with 48 points last season, AP reports.
