England and Poland qualified for World Cup finals
Poland and England qualified for the World Cup finals Saturday from Group 6 in European qualifying.
The Polish team was idle Saturday, instead playing a friendly Friday, but the Netherlands' 2-0 win over the Czech Republic in Group 1 assured both Poland and England a spot in the final tournament. The English team beats Austria 1-0 and still trails Poland. England plays Poland on Wednesday, AP reports.
