Living on the Roof, Hoping to Film a Missile

A television reporter has been living on the roof of the hotel in the town of Ruvishd (on the border territory between Jordan and Iraq) for fifteen days already. The reporter’s goal is to film an Iraqi missile, because an award for such a video tape is evaluated in the sum of 50 thousand dollars.

The American TV reporter named as Mark spends all of his days on the roof of Shat al-Arab hotel, holding a camera in his hands. The Arab newspaper Al-Raiaam wrote that Mark rented the observation post on the roof of the hotel, hoping to film an Iraqi Scud missile that would be launched to hit a target in Israel. This missile is supposed to be destroyed with a Patriot missile that would be launched from the territory of Jordan.

The reporter has already made a deal with an American television company that such a video record would cost 50 thousand dollars. However, Iraq has not launched any Scud missile against Israel yet, in contrast to the previous war in the Persian Gulf.
