Competition in Moscow metro

The Moscow metro hosted the final stage of the annual contest for the title of "the best assistant station-master".

9 participants of the contest were offered a test consisting of 30 questions testing their theoretical knowledge. Then they showed their ability to act in emergency situations. The stage when the participants were to extinguish a fire proved the most impressing.

As a result, the title went to a 32-year-old Margarita Kareva, who works at one of the ring line stations.

All the participants received flowers and presents. The prize winners will receive money, the amount of which, unfortunately, was not mentioned. Last year the first prize winner got 40 thousand roubles (which totals about US $1200).
