After receiving assistance, he bravely carried on and played as best he could, but Agassi’s mobility won the game. In the other semi-final, a well-balanced match was played between Pete Sampras (USA) and Gustavo Kuerten (Brazil). Sampras won the first set 7 – 6 but Kuerten won the second and third 6-3 and 6-4.
