Russian president Vladimir Putin has sent a message of congratulations to Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev on the national holiday, the Day of the Republic. According to the Kremlin press service, the message in part runs: "Having entered the second decade of its independence, brotherly Kazakhstan is marking the jubilee, boasting generally recognised achievements of the state development, social and economic reform.
