About fifty journalists of the TV6 television network, to be liquidated under a court decision, plan to set up a new broadcasting corporation shortly, this time acting as a legal entity, reports TV6 press secretary Tatyana Blinova. Ms. Blinova said the TV6 editorial staff had already applied to the federal Press Ministry for a license for temporary broadcasting so that they could compete for a permanent license later on. "This is being done to preserve the editorial staff and continue broadcasting so that TV viewers would have the opportunity to watch programs they prefer," the spokeswoman said.
