It’s the nine o’clock “nudes” in Bulgaria

The programme, on TelePromTer, is called “The Naked Truth” but the programme’s directors claim that “the approach we give to news is absolutely serious”. Five female presenters, aged between 19 and 23, keep the viewers informed and wide awake late into the night.

The final piece is the last news story of the night, at which the bra is ripped off, before the presenter calls for the weather forecast and wishes viewers a good night.

Not surprisingly, “The Naked truth” is outstripping the Bulgarian State TV news bulletin in the ratings.
