Chechen Dokka Musayev Found Guilty Of Terrorism And Sentenced To 8 Years In Prison

On Thursday, the Rostov regional court sentenced Dokka Musayev, a resident of the Chechen Republic, to 8 years in prison. Musayev was found guilty of terrorism. According to the materials of the case, Musayev was detained by a police duty detail on January 15, 2001 while trying to plant an explosive device on the road connecting Grozny with the village of Kirovo, Chechnya together with an accomplice. The latter was shot down and the former arrested after an attempt to attack the police officers.
