Civil Aviation exhibition to open in Domodedovo airport

Today, the Civil Aviation 2002 international exhibition is opening in theDomodedovo airport (Moscow). It is to take place from August 14 to 18. Over200 companies from twelve countries will participate in this exhibition,including those from the USA, Germany and CIS countries. Over 80 aircraftwill be demonstrated there, including Il-96, Tu-204, Tu-334, Be-103,An-124, An-38 and Il-103 planes, Mi-26 and Mi-171 helicopters and specialequipment for airport ground servicing.According to Alexander Neradko, head of the State Civil Aviation Service,the goal of the exhibition is to demonstrate the achievements of civilaviation in the past two years and to attract additional investments forupdating the Russian air fleet. It is planned that the State Civil AviationService and the International Civil Aviation Organization will sign anagreement on training flight safety inspectors in Russia.
