Young Siberian singers and musicians start on European tour

On Saturday six young musicians and singers from Krasnoyarsk, a big city in Siberia, flew to Stuttgart, Germany, to participate in the European International Music Festival, dedicated to Beethoven's creative activity. The musicians are students or recent graduates from the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theatre.

When selecting the participants in the forthcoming festival on the basis of more than 1,000 applications, the international commission attended dozens of countries. The audition was held only in one Russian city - Krasnoyarsk, because world famous baritone Dmitry Khvorostovsky graduated from the local music academy.

In addition to the European festival, scheduled for August 25 - September 8, the Krasnoyarsk singers will undergo training with the best European musicians. The Bach International Academy has assumed all expenses on the trip of young Siberians.
