Rescuers in Russia's Vologda region had to break a wall of an apartment building to extract a well-fed cat that stuck in the ventilation shaft.
The incident occurred in the small town of Sokol. A British cat, owned by a resident of the house, fell into the ventilation shaft while walking on the roof of the building. Residents of the ground floor heard the cries of the animal and called emergency services.
To release the pet, rescuers had to break a wall of the building.
The Americans came to realise that they would have to either leave the region or weaken their presence there. It is Russia that is filling the vacuum now
