Some mass media's statements about serious condition of Patriarch Alexiy II refuted

The Moscow Patriarchate has refuted some mass media's statements about the serious condition of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexiy II.

These are exaggerated rumours, the Moscow Patriarchate's department of external church relations has reported.

Some days ago the Patriarch stayed one day longer in Astrakhan, where he had come with a parsonic visit on October 26th, because of a hypertension stroke, the department pointed out.

The Moscow Patriarchate's department of external church relations also said that Alexiy II was already on his way to Moscow.
