Folk Arts Festival held in Nizhny Novgorod region
On Saturday, June 16, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev visited the Semyonovsky district of the region. The head of the region took part in the ceremony of launching natural gas in Fedoseyevo village.
In addition, Shantsev opened the IX All-Russian Festival of Folk Arts and Crafts of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Golden Khokhloma." The festival was held on June 16-17, 2012 in the town of Semyonov.
This year, the festival attracted masters of folk arts from the Kirov, Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod regions, the Republic of Mari El - about 400 participants in total, News.nnoc.org reports.
