LeAnn Rimes Separates from Husband

LeAnn Rimes is no longer living with her husband, dancer Dean Sheremet, People magazine reports. This is four months after reports surfaced that the country star and her Lifetime movie co-star, Eddie Cibrian, allegedly having an affair. “Le and Dean have been separated for quite some time now, but they’re continuing to try and work through their relationship,” a Rimes pal told the mag, The Boston Herald reports.

"Thanks to everyone for all the support through a very difficult time!" the former dancer wrote on Twitter.

Sheremet's tweet comes four months after news broke of an alleged affair between Rimes and former co-star Eddie Cibrian.

Even while Rimes, 26, and Cibrian, 36, continued to hang out after their relationship was exposed, both Sheremet and Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, stuck by their spouses.

Sheremet, 28, did his best to squash the pesky rumors by publicly professing his love for Rimes in March. "I love my wife!!!" he tweeted.

But it appears there were not enough tweets that could salvage the crumbling marriage, The New York Daily News reports.

Meanwhile LeAnn Rimes made her first public appearance on Saturday.

Performing at the Deer Valley Music Festival in Utah, Rimes spoke to concert goers about the difficulties of being in a relationship.

"You know, I think that you will all really be able to relate to this next song in your lives. You probably know it's inevitable that in a relationship, sometimes you will have your heart broken at some point," she said. "Sometimes, you might say that you can't do anything and sometimes, you want revenge. Sometimes, you say, 'You're not worth it.' But sometimes, you don't, and that's when you leave it in God's hands and know that he will take care of it," People Magazine reports.
