More "erotic" details from Jackson’s Neverland ranch

The judge in the &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/fun/2003/03/04/44010.html ' target=_blank>Michael Jackson molestation case on Friday rejected a prosecution request to close the courtroom when the teenage accuser takes the stand at the pop star's trial.

The defense and a coalition of media covering the case, including The Associated Press, had argued that the testimony should be open.

Prosecutors wanted it closed to protect the child from the intense media coverage in the case, proposing that reporters be allowed to hear the testimony through an audio feed, reports Newsday.

Judge Rodney Melville ruled that prosecutors can screen the British Broadcasting Corporation's version of Martin Bashir's programme "Living With Michael Jackson" for the jury, despite objections from Jackson's lawyers.

"I'm going to limit it to the documentary aired on the &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/letters/2001/07/05/9326.html ' target=_blank>BBC, not the 20/20 (US) version containing commentary by journalists," Melville said.

In the show, which sparked a media firestorm that attracted authorities' attention, Jackson is seen holding hands with his accuser and also admits to sharing his bedroom with children, writes the Turkish Press.
