Oliver Stone traveled the world in 94 days to film "Alexander"

To film the $150 million-budget movie, the director imported horses from Spain and Germany and hired an army of extras.

To mount the $150 million-plus production, Stone traveled from Morocco to England to Thailand in 94 days of shooting, imported horses from Spain and Germany to supplement those he found in Morocco and Thailand and employed an army of thousands of extras, informs Reuters.

According to BBC, it is the story of one of history's most celebrated leaders - a relentless and arrogant warrior who conquered much of the known world by the age of 25.

"For me it's an adventure ride such as has never been experienced before," says Stone.
