Stops smoking for one day

The American Cancer Society hosts its Great American Smokeout, smokers across the country will put out their &to=http://english.pravda.ru/science/19/94/377/12309_milk.html' target=_blank>cigarettes for a day.

The national event is held each year in an effort to encourage Americans to stop using tobacco for one day in hopes it will help them kick the habit for good.

The University's Relay For Life and the University Health Center are supporting this year's event by trying to raise awareness on campus about the adverse effects of &to=http://english.pravda.ru/main/2003/01/16/42087.html' target=_blank>tobacco use.
