Curt Cobain's Love gets in trouble

After months of battling several legal charges for drug possession, assault and disorderly conduct, troubled rocker Courtney Love has finally admitted to hitting a fan with a microphone during a performance earlier this year.

Love was arrested on March 18 after hitting Gregory Burgett at a concert that she was giving at Plaid, a club on East 13th Street. After she left the nightclub, she was arrested on misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment and third-degree assault, reports New Kerala.

According to WPVI, if Love violates that, she could go to jail for 15 days. Love says she wasn't on drugs at the time and "playing a rock show had nothing to do with drugs."

Love wants to go to jail regardless. She tells Rolling Stone she's in the process of taping a show at a California women's correctional prison.

In July, a Los Angeles judge sentenced Ms. Love to an 18-month drug treatment program after she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of cocaine when she tried to break into her ex-boyfriend's house last year.

"Me getting arrested at a rock show has nothing to do with drugs," she said. "That was where I got a little miffed."

"I don't think," she added, "it was much of a deal," informs The New York Times.
