Cocaine: Not a drug anymore?

Xenova, a British drug company gave evidence of a drug, which may be used to cure cocaine addiction.

The drug, or to say better vaccine makes addicts' organism produce antibodies, once cocaine gets into the circulatory system. Covering cocaine molecules, these antibodies make it impossible for the narcotic to pass to the brain and to cause any effect.

This finding may help fight cocaine addiction, lessening the cravings for the drug. This is a particularly important invention, taking into consideration the extent to which cocaine is spread in the EU.
