Sixteen more people died of Influenza A(H1N1) in Thailand in the past one week, raising the total number of deaths from the disease to 81.
Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Public Health Ministry, Dr Paichit Varachit, said the victims were nine men and seven women, one of whom was pregnant , Bernama reports.
Swine flu now reaches 168 countries and territories, the WHO said in its latest update on its website.
As of July 31, Azerbaijan, Gabon, Grenada, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Monaco, Nauru, Swaziland, and Suriname were added to the ranks of countries reporting laboratory confirmed cases of influenza A(H1N1), Hindustan Times reports.
