Besides the Acer Aspire 6920, Acer also introduces the new Aspire 8920G series in its new Gemstone blue design concept.
Other features of this new powerful Acer notebook include Intel Core 2 Duo processors, NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GS graphics engine with up to 1280 MB of TurboCache (512 MB of dedicated GDDR3 VRAM, up to 768 MB of shared system memory), second generation Dolby Home Theater technology, CineDash media console, up to 640GB (2x320GB) HDD storage, TV tuner, and Blu-ray disc drive.
The Aspire 8920G comes bundled with a VoIP Bluetooth phone, a handy device that can be used as a normal cell phone connected to the notebook through Bluetooth connections, or can be placed on any desk or surface and used as a speaker phone, letting the user communicate freely while continuing to work on the PC. Used in combination with the integrated Acer CrystalEye camera, the VoIP phone guarantees real-time videoconferencing and effortless broadcasting.

The Acer Aspire 8920G is the first 18.4-inch Full HD CineCrystal LCD panel with 1920x1080 pixel resolution on the market. The eye catching screen features 8ms response time and native 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, the golden ratio to enjoy HD content with realism and precision.
The Acer Aspire series refers to Acer's budget range of PCs aimed at the casual household user or for small business use. The Aspire model name covers both desktop and laptop form factors.
Acer revealed a new notebook design dubbed Gemstone for its Acer Aspire notebook line.
The Acer Gemstone design features rounded, opalesque contours and a white ceramiFinish keyboard accented with sapphire blue special keys.
Overall the design of the new Acer notebooks looks great, but looks are not everything. Acer is still holding back on the specifications of their new line of notebooks.
The only technical detail revealed, is that the Gemstone notebooks come with Dolby Surround Sound.
