Two local residents suspected of a triple murder have been detained in Karaganda. Kazakhstan Today reports that the neighborhood authorities discovered the bodies of two men and one woman after putting down the fire in one of Karanganda’s apartments.
Their mutilated bodies bore signs of over 50 knife stabs. One of the victims happened to be the 55-year-old owner of the destroyed apartment. The woman’s body belonged to a 29-year-old female resident of the city, but the identity of the third man has not been established so far.
Police were able to catch two men right away of ages 18 and 26. The accused men confessed that they committed the crime in order to obtain 2,000 tenge ($15), News.ru reports.
"There should be no Russian who goes to sleep without wondering if they're going to get their throat slit in the middle of the night,” Milley said
