Warlord killed in Chechnya

Chechen warlord Ruslan Nasipov has been killed in Chechnya.

"Combined forces of Grozny's Staropromyslovsky and Oktyabrsky police districts, assisted by anti-terror and security squads killed Chechen warlord Ruslan Nasipov and another guerilla commander Bekhkan Katsayev in a sweep operation on the southern limits of Grozny," Denilkhanov told Interfax.

"Nasipov was the extremist leader of the Achkhoi-Martan district. Both warlords were on the federal wanted list as persons charged with committing serious crimes. Nasipov was suspected of organizing terrorist acts and armed attacks on servicemen, policemen and officials in different parts of Chechnya," Denilkhanov said.
