Russia mourns victims of Beslan tragedy

September 6 and 7 have been declared days of mourning in Russia for the victims of the act of terrorism in Beslan (North Ossetia). All Russian national flags will be flying at half-mast, and all entertaining events and TV shows will be cancelled.

As reported earlier, the tragedy in Beslan took the lives of 335 people. 376 former hostages, including 193 children, are still in the hospitals of North Ossetia. The bodies of 207 victims, including 105 children, have been identified. 116 bodies are still unidentified, the Echo of Moscow radio station reported. Additionally, DNA tests will be required for the identification of the fragments of 30 bodies.
