Putin orders to set up commission to upgrade state management

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed an order "On measures to update state management", the Kremlin press service told RIA Novosti on Friday.

The order implies the formation of the relevant presidential commission including three inter-departmental working groups on reforms of state services, federative relations and local self-government and on the system and structure of the executive federal bodies.

Heads of these inter-departmental working groups, President's aides Viktor Ivanov and Igor Shuvalov and government's chief of staff Dmitry Kozak will be deputy chairmen of the commission to upgrade state management under the Russian President.

The commission is "to form coordinated approaches to the implementation of main trends and principles of the state management upgrading taking into account current reforms in Russia," the press service reported.
