Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit China this fall, Russian Security Council Secretary Igor Ivanov said at a meeting with the Chief of China's General Staff, Liang Guanglie.
"We attach special importance to the Russian president's visit to China," said Ivanov.
"Now we are actively preparing for this trip and consider your visit in the context of preparations for this significant event," the secretary of the Security Council told the Chinese guest.
