LUKoil is awarded Iraqi fuel supply contract

LUKoil subsidiary LITASKO was awarded a contract to supply diesel fuel and gasoline for northern Iraqi provinces, LUKoil reported. LITASKO has signed the 3-month supply agreement with the US company Refinery Associates of Texas, Inc. and a 12-month option to prolong the contract. LITASKO enters into the supply contract on April 1, 2004.

The quarterly amount of gasoline to be supplied is 180,000 tons, that of diesel fuel is 130,000 tons. According to the agreement, LITASKO is responsible for logistical operations.

LITASKO (LUKOIL International Trading and Supply Company) was registered in Geneva in 2000, it is a fully owned LUKoil subsidiary.
