Russia plans to build 7 nuclear reactors in Iran in next 20 years

Russia should have its own position in regard to Iran's nuclear program and not trust the US opinion that weapons of mass destruction exist in the country, said Center for Iranian Studies General Director Radjab Safarov in a press conference yesterday. He said Russia had plans 'to build 6 other nuclear reactors in Iran in addition to the Busher nuclear reactor. Each reactor will produce a capacity of 7 thousand megawatts of electricity. We are planning to build a new reactor in Iran every three years,' said Safarov. He added that if Russia continues to delay in building the Busher nuclear power plant, Iran could break off cooperation.
